WHY YOGA FOR KIDS????
How Yoga for Kids can Cure many Common Ailments
Yoga is not limited to any particular age group - it can benefit people of all ages, be it adults, young kids or the elderly. The exercise is recommended to control the worst of ailments if the postures that are prescribed are continuously practiced. It is a bit difficult for adults to perfect the postures as this takes some time and practice; however, when it comes to yoga for kids it is very achievable.
Why Yoga for Kids is Easy and Effective
Children are usually very flexible and do not have the mental barrier that certain things are not possible. Hence, when they try something new and see their teacher doing it, they are convinced that they can do it too. Fortunately the great majority can practice yoga only because they firmly believe they can do it. There is no special yoga for kids, what the adults practice is also practiced by the little ones, with very slight modifications.
Many are surprised to see that when yoga for kids has been taught for sometime, ninety percent of the kids have picked it up and practice it to perfection while the same asanas (yoga postures) takes more than double the time and energy for the adults to perfect. The difference may be in the fact that kids see the yoga for kids as play time while the adults see it as serious stuff. Hence, the kids happily absorb it while the adults at times have to struggle with it.
Yoga for kids is highly beneficial for their growth, bone strength, flexibility of the body, and controlling colds and other minor afflictions. Besides, it also teaches children discipline and control over their body and mind. It has been observed that the kids who practice yoga have better concentration, appetite and sleep better.
Yoga also protects kids from the common cold as studies show that by observing children over a period of 12 months; more than 95 percent of children who practiced yoga did not catch a cold even when exposed to other kids who had symptoms.
Yoga for Kid - Discipline and Cure
Yoga is the Indian ancient science which has proved beyond any doubt that there is a deep relationship between the way we breathe and the way our body reacts to internal and external attacks by disease. By teaching yoga to kids from an early age, parents can protect their children from a number of common ailments while at the same promoting their growth and mental coordination.

Me---all natur'al...
For the most part...I try to keep it pretty natural. I have found that I feel like me with minimum make-up and bed hair or braids. Not to say I cant do it up, but when I do; I find I'm way too worried about messing something up---smearing lipstick, Louisiana humidity kills curls anyway. Maybe it comes with age; maybe we all get to a content place where being who we are is actually okay. What a relief...
Ideas for Yoga Fleaux are coming on pretty thick today.
I'll announce dates and times very soon---Just ironing out some kinks:)
